Lakshman to lead Indian challenge at Asia-Pacific senior golf

The championship will be held at the Royal Perth Golf Club, Australia from November 30 to December 2.

New Delhi: The Indian team for 2011 Asia-Pacific Senior Amateur Golf Championships will be spearheaded by the 1982 Asian Games gold medallist `Bunny` Lakshman Singh of the Royal Calcutta Golf Club.
The championship will be held at the Royal Perth Golf Club, Australia from November 30 to December 2. Led by Lakshman, one of the finest amateurs in his heydays, the side will have Gangesh Khaitan (Noida) and Vijay Kumar (Noida) as Team A from India. Team B from India will comprise of IPS Mann (Chandigarh), Nalin Kant (Army) and Ashish Dube (Noida). Two best scores will be counted each day from the team of three players. PTI
