McDowell and Dubuisson win for Europe

Gleneagles: Europe`s Graeme McDowell and Victor Dubuisson crushed Rickie Fowler and Jimmy Walker 5 and 4 in their Saturday afternoon foursomes match at the Ryder Cup.

The home duo had birdies at two, three and six, with the Americans gifting the two other points through bogeys.

Fowler and Walker were playing for the fourth time in two days, the only pair on the US team to do so, having halved their three previous games in 18-hole thrillers.

They pulled one back with their first birdie of the day at the 11th, but it was all over three holes later with the European duo once again five ahead.

McDowell, the 2010 US Open champion, was paired with rookie Dubuisson to ease the Frenchman into Ryder Cup play.

The two won their foursomes on Friday afternoon, defeating the previously unbeaten Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley 3 and 2.

The second session of foursomes started with Europe in a narrow 6 1/2 to 5 1/2 lead over the United States.
