Taipei: World number one Park In-Bee of South Korea carded a three-under 69 to retain her sole lead after the third round of the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship in Taipei on Saturday.
Park held a four-shot lead going into the final round after finishing the day with four birdies, three bogeys and a key eagle on the par-5 12th at the Miramar Golf Country Club.
She described the windy conditions as "tougher" than those earlier in the $2 million tournament, having fired a stunning 10-under-par to take the sole lead after the second round.
"It was quite a different situation with the wind," Park said.
"It was tough to stop the ball on the green. We have quite tough holes out there but I think I managed myself," she added.
World number two Stacy Lewis of the United States scored the low round of the day with a 64 to tie in second place with Feng Shanshan for a three-day total of 17-under 199.
The stakes are high for Lewis as she seeks to reclaim the top spot with a victory on Sunday, having lost it to Park just this week.
"I want to play In-Bee when she`s playing her best and she wants to play me when we are playing our best. It should be some good golf tomorrow for the fans and hopefully a lot of birdies," she said.
Defending champion Suzann Pettersen of Norway meanwhile slid further to 33rd place after posting a disappointing 74 with a three-day total of 211.
