PGTI Bangalore Open from October 6

Bangalore: Defending champion Mohd Siddikur Rahman, along with other PGTI regulars such as C Muniyappa, Himmat Singh Rai, Mukesh Kumar, Ashok Kumar and Shamim Khan
will tee off at the Rs four million Global Green Bangalore Open from October 6 to 9 here.

The championship will be played at the par-72 KGA golf course in the city.

The tournament which has been a regular feature on the PGTI circuit, will also see some Digvijay Singh, Harmeet Kahlon, Sujjan Singh and Chiragh Kumar among others in action.

"The Global Green Bangalore Open is now an established event on the AIRCEL-PGTI calendar, and is keenly awaited by our players. I would like to thank Mr. Gautam Thapar and the
Avantha Group for their continued support and encouragement to professional golf in India," said PGTI Director Padamjit Sandhu.

The venue for the event, the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA), was established in 1973 and is located in the heart of the city.
