Seville (Spain): Indian golfers Jyoti
Randhawa and Shiv Kapur missed the cut despite turning in
improved cards of even-par 72 in the second round of the
European Tour`s Open de Espana here.
Randhawa ended one-over 145, a stroke adrift of the
cutline, while Kapur finished way down at five-over 149.
On a roller-coaster day, seasoned pro Randhawa picked up
five birdies -- four of them in the front nine -- and an equal
number of bogeys.
Kapur, on the other hand, needed a vastly improved card
after nightmarish 77 in the opening round and level-par 72 was
never going to be enough.
The Delhi-golfer knocked off three birdies against an
equal number of bogeys in the second round.
