Actor Rupert Grint has been struck down with swine flu.

London, July 05: Actor Rupert Grint, who plays Harry Potter`s friend Ron Weasley in the hit franchise, has been struck down with swine flu.The actor had to take a break from filming the latest installment of the `Harry Potter` to recover from the flu, Sun online reported.
"It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu," a statement from the actor`s publicist said. "He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards," the statement added. Grint`s spokesperson said that the actor has recovered from the disease and was not at the risk of infecting others. "Other scenes were shot in his absence which did not require his involvement and thus filming was not disrupted," Bureau Report
