2012 Olympics: Fans hail Sushil Kumar despite loss in finalZeenews Sports Bureau

New Delhi: The veteran Indian wrestler made history by becoming the first Indian athlete to win back-to-back medals at the biggest sporting event.

Sushil Kumar was defeated by Japan’s Tatsuhiro Yonemitsu 3-1 in a short and final bout at the ExCel Arena in the final of the Men`s 66kg Freestyle Wrestling event on Sunday.

But the fans are indeed very proud of his historic feat and this is what some of them have to say:

“I hail sushil kumar for doing the country and haryana proud.. wat a wrester.. hearty congratulations.”…from Haryana.

“Hi, Sushil kumar you have done great job in London Olympics with silver medal.”…from Karnataka.

Don`t lost hope, it will be better next time. You have made all of us proud.”…from Kolkata.

“Congrats Sushil I am happy about you, we are proud of you and i know you will win the gold medal.”…from Jharkhand.
