Wrestling: Bronze medals for Georgia and Iran
Georgia`s Dato Marsagishvili and Iran`s Ehsan Naser Lashgari won bronze medals in the men`s 84 kg freestyle wrestling Saturday. Farah adds 5000m title to 10000m gold

Modern penthathon: Svoboda wins gold for Czechs

Russia`s Savinova wins gold in women`s 800m
Russia`s Mariya Savinova took Olympic gold in the women`s 800 metres final Saturday, edging out South Africa`s Caster Semenya as the bronze also went to Russia. Savinova, the reigning World Champion, ran a time of 1 minute 56.19 and, while there was none of the record-breaking pace shown in the men`s final when Kenya`s David Rudisha smashed his own world record, there was plenty of drama. Russia`s Lashmanova wins walk in record time
Russia`s Elena Lashmanova won Olympic gold in the women`s 20km race walk Saturday, beating the world record of her fellow Russian Vera Sokolova in the process. Lashmanova finished in 1 hour 25 minutes 2 seconds, ahead of another Russian from the same region of Mordovia, Olga Kaniskina, who took silver after finishing seven seconds behind her. Wrestling: Azerbaijan`s Asgarov wins gold
Azerbaijan`s Toghrul Asgarov won the gold medal in the men`s freestyle 60 kg wrestling division at the Olympics Saturday. Asgarov defeated reigning World Champion Besik Kudukhov of Russia 3-0 on points in the final, winning the first round 1-0 with a minor throw before racking up three throws in the second as he won 5-0. Handball: Spain slogs to dramatic bronze
Spain beat South Korea 31-29 in a captivating Olympic women`s handball bronze medal match Saturday that needed a second overtime to decide a winner. Nely Alberto and Begona Fernandez both hit five to top score for Spain, while Gwon Han Na led Koreans with seven.
Basketball: Australia thrashes Russia for women`s bronze
Australia`s women dominated Russia throughout to win basketball bronze Saturday, beating the Russians 83-74. The Australians held the lead 17-16 at the end of a largely even first quarter and kept it throughout from that point on, leading 57-43 at the end of third before the Australians eased off, allowing Russia to take the fourth 31-26. Men's 4 x 100m final

Yogeshwar Dutt wins first repechage round
Yogeshwar Dutt won the first repechage round beating Franklin Gomez Matos of Puerto Rico 0-3 to move to the next repechage round.
Update:Yogeshwar Dutt has qualified for the repechage round and will now contest fpr bronze medal. He will face Franklin Gomez Matos of Puerto Rico.
Mexico defeat Brazil 2-1 to bag gold
Mexico created a major upset in the Olympic men's football tournament as they stunned 5-time World Champions Brazil 2-1 to win their first gold in Football.
Oribe Peralta's was the hero for Mexico as he scored twice in the crucial encounter.
Yogeshwar Dutt loses pre-quarterfinal bout
Yogeshwar Dutt lost 0-3 to Beijing bronze-medallist Besik Kudukhov of Russia in the 60kg freestyle pre-quarterfinals bout at the London Olympics.

India's Yogeshwar Dutt won his opening bout defeating Anatolie Ilarionovitch of Bulgaria 2-1 in the qualification round and has entered the pre-quarters.
India’s Basant Bahadur Rana finished 36th in the 50km race walk with a new national record of 3:56.48.

The Indian wrestlers had a disappointing Day 14 when Amit Kumar (55kg) and Narsingh Yadav(74kg) failed to win any medal in their respective categories. The former made it to the quarters and lost in the repechage while the latter bowed out in the first bout itself.
