London: Vikas Gowda of India finished in 8th position in a field of 12 in Men's Discus throw event at the London Olympics with the best throw of 64.79m. Robert Harting of Germany won gold with a throw of 68.27m. Ehsan Hadadi of Islamic Republic of Iran took silver with 68.18m throw and Gerd Kanter of Estonia clinched bronze with a season best throw of 68.03m.
