Height: 6’2”

Vishnu Vardhan: He is one of the stars of the next generation of Indian tennis players. The 24-year-old lad from Secundarabad picked racquet aged eight and since then has created a name for himself in the Indian tennis circuit.

The moment of glory came during the 2010 Asian Games where he was a member of the Indian contingent and justified his inclusion by winning two medals at the event. He won bronze medal in the men’s double and silver medal in the mixed doubles category where he partnered Sania Mirza.

In April 2011, he became the first ever Indian to be featured by the International Tennis Federation as Player of the Month.

Besides this, he has twice represented India in the Asian Hopman Cup in 2008 and 2009.

In the singles category he is currently ranked 296.
