London Mayor Boris has a Bieber crop for Olympics openingLondon: Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, famed for his long and messy hair style, has gone for a Justin Bieber-style haircut ahead of the Olympics.

Johnson, 48, forked out 29 pounds at a salon near City Hall as he prepares to take centre stage at Friday`s opening ceremony.

His new look with a smart side parting comes after presenter David Letterman asked him on US TV: "How long have you been cutting your own hair? Do you think it is holding you back?"

"Boris doesn`t have his hair cut very often but he wants to look smart for the Games," The Sun quoted a source as saying.

The mayor`s hair is so famous that fans have even given it its own Facebook page and Twitter account. @Boris_Hair has almost 800 followers.

Johnson is scheduled to read an Olympic ode in ancient Greek to celebrate 2012 athletes at today`s gala for the International Olympic Committee.

Justin Drew Bieber, 18, is a famous Canadian singer? songwriter, musician and actor.
