| London: The Spice Girls will arrive standing on top of five black London cabs, to perform at the world’s greatest after-party as part of the Olympics closing ceremony, it has been revealed.
Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm were photographed practicing their moves at a secret rehearsal, the Daily Star reported.
More than 20 pop and rock legends will be performing 30 British hits at the show.
Artists tipped for the two-and-half-hour gig include the Queen stars Brian May and Roger Taylor who will perform ‘We Are The Champions’ with comic Russell Brand.
Legendary bands, The Who and The Rolling Stones have also been booked.
The spectacular is being masterminded by composer David Arnold, 50, who has written music for ‘James Bond’ movies and TV shows ‘Sherlock’ and ‘Little Britain.’
“To me, this should be the greatest after-party in the world,” he told the Telegraph.
“If the Opening Ceremony was the wedding, then we’re the wedding reception,” he added.
