The South Korea Sailing Federation says coach Lee Jae-cheol has been sent home from the Olympics after being stopped by police for drunk driving after attending a banquet hosted by the mayor of Weymouth.

Weymouth (England) : The South Korea Sailing Federation says coach Lee Jae-cheol has been sent home from the Olympics after being stopped by police for drunk driving after attending a banquet hosted by the mayor of Weymouth.
The federation says Lee was returning alone to the athletes village at 5 a.M. Thursday after sleeping at the federation's headquarters in an attempt to sober up. The federation has apologized on Lee's behalf. Kim Joon-nyun, secretary general of the sailing federation, says Lee had been fined 250 British pounds and was "on the way home." South Korea is represented by four sailors in three classes. (Agencies)
