Coulthard not to drive over 170 miles on Bandra-Worli sealink

Mumbai: Mumbaikars hoping to see former F1
British driver David Coulthard zoom across the Rajiv Gandhi
Bandra-Worli Sea Link at break-neck speed would be a
disappointed lot as the racer will not drive over 170-180
miles per hour mark.

"The maximum speed that Coulthard drive is 170-180 miles
per hour. The road (at the sealink) is flat as a track. It is
not possible to drive at this much speed. He will be slowing
it down," Red Bull Racing Team Support Manager, Tony Burrows
told reporters on the sidelines of a promotional event here.

Coulthard, a consultant with Red Bull after 14 years of
active service on the F1 circuit, would drive down the Rajiv
Gandhi Bandra-Worli Sea Link in a Red Bull`s 2005 model racing
car on October 11.

The five-year old team, which is currently second on the
constructor`s points list and has a racer Sebastian Vettel
still in contention for the Formula One drivers` title, is
enjoying its best run this season, Burrows said.

"Red Bull is going through a lot of transformation.
Besides, there have been whole new regulations, lots of
changes. The design team did very well this year. We had our
best year this year," he said.

"When you start from a clean sheet of paper everyone has
an equal opportunity," he added.
