Sepang: Efren Vazquez clinched his second Moto3 victory this season in a nail-biting Malaysian Grand Prix on Sunday.
The Spanish Honda rider -- whose only other victory came in the Indianapolis Grand Prix -- rode a phenomenal race to glide past Australia`s Jack Miller at the final turn and seal the win in 40 minutes 41.002seconds.
The KTM rider came second with a time difference of 0.213 seconds. The championship title is still firmly in sight going into the final race in Valencia.
Spanish Honda rider Alex Rins took the final podium spot, while Briton Danny Kent ended up fourth.
Championship leader Alex Marquez could only manage a fifth place, ending up 0.831 seconds from Vazquez.
The Spanish Honda rider still leads the standings, 11 points ahead of Miller with Rins in third.
