F1 World Champ Vettel not worried about greatness talks
Tokyo: Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel has said that even if he goes to another team, there will be doubters and it will not change people`s opinions about whether he is already a great sporting icon or not.

According to The Japan Times, Ryan Gigs and Sachin Tendulkar are nearing their end, while Vettel, remains a very young man with only the achievements of the sport`s greatest drivers, Michael Schumacher and Juan-Manuel Fangio laying ahead of him over the next decade.

Yet there are those who carp at his feats, with even the highly respected voice of three-time world champion Jackie Stewart was heard decrying claims to be one of the greatest of all-time this week, the report said

Stewart says Vettel has to move to prove himself in more adverse conditions, as Schumacher did in winning five titles with a previously-forlorn Ferrari after winning two at Benetton, the report added.

However, Vettel said that at the end of the day, he is happy with himself and happy to be given what his team has achieved.
