London: Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has indicated that he is a strong favourite in Sunday`s Chinese Grand Prix by saying that the event is his to lose.
Hamilton reportedly made the 34th pole of his career at the Shanghai International Circuit, which has moved him ahead of 1960s legend Jim Clark in the all0time list of British drivers. According to the BBC, Hamilton said that he just needs to make sure that he gets a good night`s rest ahead of Sunday`s Grand Prix and focus. The Mercedes racer said that he still cannot believe that he has had so many pole finishes in his career, adding that he just has to keep driving the way he does. Hamilton said that he feels focused and ready, adding that he just has to hopefully maintain that. Hamilton, who is attempting to win his third consecutive race, is unhappy with his car`s set up in dry conditions and said that he does hot know how it will behave in the race, which is predicted to be dry, the report added.
