Deepak wins in national motorcycle racing
Deepak R. beat Sumit Lucas Toppo by 0.024 seconds in yet another tight race of the Honda CBR 250 category in the fourth round of the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship at the Kari Motor Speedway here Sunday.

Deepak took his second win of the weekend after a race-long battle with Toppo. Both riders, who had a close battle in Race 1 as well, put on a brilliant performance with the lead exchanging hands several times.
They were side-by-side as they came down the main straight on the final lap with Deepak just edging ahead. Sarath Kumar finished a distant third.
In Honda CBR 150 Novice category, Naresh Babu won ahead of Mithun Kumar and Mal Sawmdawngliana.
K. Rajni Krishnan continued his unbeaten run in the Group C 165cc class with his fifth win a row. His closest rival was Sarath with Deepak finishing third. Rajni got a great start and was not caught thereafter as he pulled away to take a convincing win.
Mathana Kumar also continued his winning streak in the TVS One Make Open race, albeit a little harder this time around. K.Y. Ahamed and Ananth Raj put on a great fight but slipped away towards the end.
In the TVS Apache Novice category S. Kannan beat K. Kannan by 0.562 seconds with Vishal S. taking the final step on the podium.
Hari Krishnan extracted his revenge on Mithun Kumar as he beat him to win the Group D 165cc race. Prabhu V. finished third after leading early on. It was a fantastic battle between the trio with 0.363 seconds separating the top-3.
S. Kannan denied Mithun to win the Group D 130cc race. It was another three way fight for the win with K. Kannan coming in third with less than a second separating the podium finishers.
