Hamilton fears backlash from Massa fans at Brazilian F1 Grand Prix

London: British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton has braced himself for a backlash from the fans of Ferrari’s Felipe Massa in Sunday’s Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos.

Hamilton and Massa have had a running feud after clashing six times on the track this season.

Brazil’s F1 fans have also not forgotten the epic title decider on the Interlagos track in 2008, when Hamilton pipped Massa to the drivers’ crown by one point.

“I am sure there will be a few Felipe fans who will be less happy.” a leading daily quoted Hamilton, as saying.

“I have no idea what the reaction will be. I just know that I have had great support every time I have been to Brazil.” he added.
