Hamilton says Red Bull strong contenders in Australian GP
London: Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has said that Red Bull have a `stunning` car for which they are strong contenders for the Australian Grand Prix.
Hamilton said that he is sure that Red Bull has got a `pretty quick` car and they would be `very hard to beat` as the more `beautiful` the car is, the more `faster` it is, despite Red Bull`s disastrous pre-season testing programme.
According to the BBC, Hamilton, however feels that his team would be contenders this season and said that his team is `stronger` than ever and he is hopeful of being able to `fight` with Red Bull.
This season would see the biggest rule changes in the generation with the introduction of turbo hybrid engines and a fuel limit and Hamilton has said that the new rules and the reliability problems have made it difficult to predict who would start on top in this year`s Australian Grand Prix , the report added.
Meanwhile, Red Bull have done fewer miles than any other team except Lotus amid a host of problems and their driver Sebastian Vettel, four time world champion has reportedly admitted that his team was not yet competitive.
