Hulkenberg 8th, Resta 9th in Brazilian GP first free practice

Sao Paulo: Force India`s Nico Hulkenberg on Friday set the eighth fastest time while his teammate Paul di Resta was 9th fastest in the first free practice session for Sunday`s Brazilian Grand Prix at the Interlagos circuit.

Hulkenberg finished 8th with the fastest lap time of 1m 15.178s, while Resta clocked 1m 15.241s to finish ninth.

Seven-tenths of a second separated the top six drivers after today`s first practice session. Mark Webber set the pace for Red Bull with 1m 13.811s, but he was only 0.014s ahead of Jenson Button, who posted 1m 13.825s, and 0.150s ahead of Lewis Hamilton, who lapped in 1m 13.961s in the second McLaren.

Red Bull`s Sebastian Vettel came fourth clocking 1m 14.025s.
