London: Former Formula One world champion Nigel Mansell believes that Mercedes ' ace racer Lewis Hamilton has this season's world title in 'one hand' as he heads into the final race in Abu Dhabi on 23 November.

Hamilton leads his teammate Nico Rosberg by 17 points, but with double points up for grabs in the final race. Hamilton can be usurped if he finishes outside the top two.

However, Mansell believes that Hamilton has got the upper hand, and said that the Briton has got the championship in one hand and he is sure that it's his to lose now, The BBC reported.

The Briton saw the title dramatically taken from his grasp at the final race in 1986 when his Williams suffered a puncture in the closing stages in Australia.

Mansell said that everybody felt that he was robbed from the championships and he became the people's champion, borne out by winning the Sports Personality of the Year with the BBC.

He added that although he lost the World Championship he felt he won another World Championship with all the support he had.
