‘Old fart’ Michael Schumacher urged to quit F1
London: Seven-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher has been branded the ‘old fart’ of the sport by Eddie Jordan, founder and owner of Jordan team.
Schumacher will celebrate the 20th anniversary of his F1 debut in Belgium this weekend.
But, Jordan reckons that Schumacher will put his legacy as a racing great at risk if he continues for another year.
“Michael really is an old fart. He’s had his time. I don’t think his legacy has been affected yet by what has happened in his comeback,” a leading daily quoted Jordan, as saying.
“But he has to make sure he gets the timing of his exit from F1 right,” he added.
