Red Bull left hoping for errors from others
Monza: Red Bull knew their performance would be limited at Monza and are hoping the mistakes which have inflicted their campaign now infect rival teams in Sunday`s Italian Grand Prix.
Australia`s Mark Webber, second in the standings behind championship leader Lewis Hamilton with six races remaining, will start fourth on the grid following Saturday`s qualifying ahead of team mate Sebastian Vettel in sixth.
Ferrari`s Fernando Alonso is on pole with Hamilton fifth.
"It will be tough as we are not the fastest and it will be difficult to overtake," Germany`s Vettel, whose title charge was undermined by errors in the last two races, told reporters.
"Let`s see if the other teams do us a favour."
Webber was very happy with his position given the super-fast Monza circuit was not expected to suit Red Bull`s car.
"Fourth here is good for us," he said. "The team reacted well in the circumstances. It would have been nice to be on the front row but we knew it would be difficult."
