Sydney: Red Bull racer Daniel Ricciardo has said that overtaking teammate Sebastian Vettel at the Bahrain Grand Prix was an important moment of his career.
Red Bull team officials had reportedly asked the four-time world drivers` champion Vettel to make way for his teammate at Sakhir on Sunday.
The Australian said that it was good fun as he had a couple of cracks at Vettel adding that it is important to establish himself, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Ricciardo said that Vettel has been dominant in Formula One for the past four years, so it was nice to come in and show that he can race ahead of the German.
Ricciardo also said that he was really comfortable with the car at Bahrain and that gave him the confidence to go for the moves and move forward, the report added.
