Rosberg believes he has `psychological edge` over Hamilton
London: Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg believes that he has now got the psychological edge over his teammate Lewis Hamilton after opening up a 22-point lead in the title race.
Hamilton won four races in a row to take the championship lead off Rosberg, but the German reclaimed the advantage with victory in Monaco and second in Canada as the Brit retired.
According to the BBC, Rosberg said it was really important to bring that run to an end because psychology is a big part of sports.
Rosberg added that if one has those results behind him, like he has currently, it gives on that little bit extra, that little bit of an edge, so it does help.
With both Mercedes cars suffering identical issues with the energy recovery systems during the Canadian Grand Prix, Rosberg, ahead of Sunday`s Austrian Grand Prix said it is not good with reliability problems like that, adding that they need to be bulletproof.
