Sombre minute`s silence for MH370 victims

Sepang: Drivers, officials and thousands of fans observed a sombre minute`s silence on Sunday before the Malaysian Grand Prix for those missing on disappeared flight MH370.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak and F1 chief Bernie Ecclestone led the tribute as they stood with drivers on the starting grid, in front of thousands of spectators in the grandstands. "Our thoughts are with those who are missing, their loved ones and with the tireless rescue-workers," an announcer said before the minute`s silence, which was followed by the Malaysian national anthem. Drivers will wear helmet stickers reading "Pray for MH370" and the Malay-language "Doa Untuk MH370", and cars will also carry messages of support after 239 people were presumed killed in the missing Malaysia Airlines jet.
