Now, Sachin tops tax payers’ list too!

Star cricketer Sachin Tendulkar retains his top spot in the tax payers list among Indian cricketers.

New Delhi: India’s star cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has not only been at the pinnacle of the cricket world when it comes to breaking records and setting new ones, but is also at the top in the tax payers list among Indian cricketers. For long, there has been talk of skipper MS Dhoni being the more sought after by the advertisers but if the amount of income tax paid is anything to go by, Sachin comfortably beats his teammates. While Dhoni is placed at the second spot, hard-hitting batsman Virender Sehwag is playing catch up at number three. Sachin, who has performed consistently with over Rs. 8 crore in tax money for the past three years is at the top spot while Rahul Dravid, who was third last year has dropped to fifth.
