Aditya Mehta continued his winning run by defeating veteran Jimmy White of England 5-1 in Round 3 of the World Professional Snooker Circuit.

Mehta started off with a 47 break to win the 1st frame.
With a lead of 50 points in the 2nd frame, Jimmy got back and put Mehta under pressure but Mehta won that frame too to go 2-0.

In the third frame, even though White broke off leaving a long red, Mehta tactfully potted it and made 85 points to lead 3-0.

After losing the fourth frame, Mehta fought back after the interval starting strongly with a 30 and 67 to go 4-1.

For his winning frame, Mehta potted some good balls and eventually sealed the win on the green.

Talking about his consecutive victory, an excited Mehta said: "I am very thrilled about the win today as Jimmy is a tough opponent. This is my second time in the 4th round of a Pro ranking event. I need one more to qualify for the final stages in China."

Mehta will be playing Jamie Cope tomorrow in Round 4.
