Mumbai: Indian cueist Aditya Mehta is all set to participate in the Shanghai Masters Qualifiers starting from Tuesday at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield, near Yorkshire in England.
The qualifying rounds for the tournament are scheduled to continue till Friday.
"The upcoming match for me shall be an interesting one and I`m looking forward to playing it," said the Asian Games medallist. Mehta had won the 2012 Asian Snooker Championship with a 7?5 victory over his long-term colleague Pankaj Advani in April.
Aditya will be seen competing against Paul Davison of Yorkshire in his first match. The tournament will have about 80 players competing in 64 matches. All the matches will be played in the best of 9 frame format.
