Bolt looks for redemption at worlds on Friday
Daegu: Usain Bolt has a Friday date with redemption, seeking to put his stunning debacle of a 100-meter false start behind him and get another world championship gold in the 200 instead.
With the sun finally shining over Daegu stadium, Monday`s finals in the men`s 110 hurdles and the women`s 100 and 400 were seeking to kickstart the competition again after the Jamaican`s elimination from the 100 final.
Such was the impact on the Olympic champion and world-record holder that he found it difficult to look forward to his next event.
Bolt asked himself "How will I go? It`s on Friday, right? Then we`ll have to see on Friday."
In any event, another golden triple after the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2009 world championships in Berlin is out.
