CBI conducts fresh raids in CWG scam

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday conducted raids on a number of locations in Delhi and Mumbai to gather more evidence in the Commonwealth Games scam.

CBI teams raided the locations early in the morning and caught the inhabitants of the CWG-dealing offices unaware. Tightening the noose on the perpetrators of national shame during the working of the CWG that brought the tax payer losses of thousands of crores, a new FIR was also registered over the construction of stadiums for the mega-event.

The FIR was in relation to the construction of the Sirifort Sports Complex in New Delhi.
