Chetan, Kashyap, Trupti advance to round 3 in senior nationals
Indian ace shuttlers Chetan Anand and P kashyap entered the third round of the Senior National Championship with a straight-game victory over their respective rivals here on Friday.

Rohtak: Indian ace shuttlers Chetan Anand and P kashyap entered the third round of the Senior National Championship with a straight-game victory over their respective rivals here on Friday.
Top seed Chetan Anand beat Ashish Sharma 22-20 21-11, while 13th seed P Kashyap beat Sahil Katlariya 21-12 21-10 in the men`s singles.
Eighth seed Arvind Bhat also notched up an easy win over Prateek Singh 21-13 21-17, while Ajay jayaram beat Lalnunmawia 21-9 21-13 and Anand Pawar made short work of Rohit Ranaut 21-9 21-10.
RMV Gurusaidutt also reached the third round with a 21-19 21-15 victory over Vinay Kumar Reddy in another match.
Sixth seed HS Prannoy and 16th seed Sai Praneeth also reached the third round with a straight-set win over their respective rivals.Top seed Trupti Murgunde beat Jui Agaskar 21-14 21-17 to reach the third round of the women`s singles.
Among others, 10th seed Mohita Sahdev completed a 21-5 21-4 thrashing of Purnica Bhandari, Riya Pillai beat Arjoo Thakur 21-18 21-14, while Chitra Lekha defeated Hena Das 21-17 21-6 to make it to the next round.
Arundhati Pantawane also advanced to the next round with a 21-9 21-17 victory over Maneesha K.
