Czech Maslak wins men`s world indoor 400m

Pavel Maslak of the Czech Republic won the men`s 400m at the World Indoor Athletics Championships at Sopot on Saturday.

Maslak, the reigning European champion indoors and out, clocked 45.24 seconds, with Chris Brown of the Bahamas taking silver in 45.58sec. American Kyle Clemons claimed bronze in 45.74sec while defending champion Nery Brenes of Costa Rica could only finish sixth and last (47.32).
