Egyptians and Malaysians for squash carnival

Egypt`s Marwan Hossam Mohamed and Malaysia`s Pushppa Devi Pramasewa are the main attractions in men`s and women`s categories in the Rs 11-lakh prize money Indian Squash Professionals Minute Maid Squash Carnival.

Mumbai: Egypt`s Marwan Hossam Mohamed and Malaysia`s Pushppa Devi Pramasewa are the main attractions in
men`s and women`s categories in the Rs 11-lakh prize money Indian Squash Professionals Minute Maid Squash Carnival commencing at Khar and Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhanas on Saturday. Malaysia`s Kamran Khan and Elvinn Keo Jinn Chung are the other foreign participants in the men`s section vying for the top prize of Rs 1.5 lakh. The losing finalist would pocket Rs 75,000, a release said today. Among the top Indian men in action would be Siddharth Suchde, Gaurav Nandrajog, Vikas Jangra, Sandeep Jangra, Mahesh Mangaonkar and Aditya Jagtap. Besides Pushppa Devi, her Malaysian compatriots Siti Munirah Jusoh and Delia Arnold are in the women`s draw along with South Africa`s Siyoli Waters who would be fighting for the winner`s purse of Rs 75,000. The Indian challenge would be led by Saumya Karki, Shreya Khatri and Surbhi Mishra, among others. Over 700 entries have been received from all over the country, including in the boys` and girls` under-19, under-17, under-15, under-13 and under-11 categories. PTI
