Goa to host triathlon on Feb 16

Panaji: Goa will host the triathlon at Bambolim beach near here on February 16.

"The event will be of Olympic length, with 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running," Goa Outbound Adventure (GoA), which has organised the event, said on Wednesday. "We have organised an annual swimathon for the past three years. For the first time triathlon would be held," the organisers said. The triathlon will be organised in individual format as well as for teams comprising a swimmer, cyclist and runner.
