Gurgaon school boys to take part in world jr squash tourney

New Delhi: Eight students of Pathways World
School, Gurgaon have been selected to represent India in the
two major world junior squash tournaments to be held in
Malaysia next month.

The Gurgaon boys will take part in Penang International
Junior Squash tournament from June 1 to 5 and The Milo All
Star Junior Squash championship at Petaling Jaya Selangor in
Malaysia from June 7 to 12.

These junior tournaments will have 500 school children
competing from over 30 countries such as Australia, New
Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, South Africa,
France, host Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India.

Pathways World School is the first International
Baccalaureate affiliated board school from India to
participate in this global tournament.

The eight students are in the age group of 11 -18 years.

"It is an incredible honour for the school and
acknowledgement of our children`s sporting skills to be a part
of this highly competitive tournament where some of the
world`s best talents are expected to compete," Sarvesh Naidu,
Director Pathways World School said.

The students are Abhay Mehta, Romario Pavan, Shashank
Bhandari, Vedant Agarwal, Harsh Jain, Nicholas John, Manav
Preenja and Samar Mittal.
