Canada`s ice hockey star Hayley Wickenheiser will carry the national flag at the Sochi Winter Olympics, Canadian Olympic officials announced.

Ottawa: Canada`s ice hockey star Hayley Wickenheiser will carry the national flag at the Sochi Winter Olympics, Canadian Olympic officials announced.
Wichenheiser, who has helped Canada`s women win three Olympic gold medals and one silver, will compete in her fifth Winter Games in Sochi, reports a leading agency.
The 35-year-old also helped Canada claim seven world championships.
Speedskater Clara Hughes was the flag bearer for Canada at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
