India bow out in World Jr squash quarters

New Delhi: India lost 1-2 against Canada to
crash out in the quarterfinals of the team event in the World
Junior Boys Squash Championships in Quito, Ecuador.

Aditya Jagtap was no match for Andrew Schnell as the
Indian lost in straight games 5-11, 9-11, 4-11 yesterday to give
Canada the lead.

Nicholas Sachvie then wrapped the encounter in favour of
Canada, defeating Ravi Dixit 11-7, 11-7, 11-4.

Ramit Tandon pulled up a consolation win for India,
beating Arjun Gupta 11-2, 11-1.
