Hyderabad: The vast experience of veteran Taufiq Hidayat is a great asset to Hyderabad Hotshots in the Indian Badminton League (IBL), star shuttler and team`s icon player Saina Nehwal said here on Sunday.

"Taufiq`s experience is definitely a great asset to the team," the world no 3 told reporters here. "I am surprised to know that I have many fans across India and the support from the crowd is very inspiring," she said. After winning four matches, the Hyderabad Hotshots team has now arrived in their hometown to play the last league match with Bangalore team Banga Beats. Men`s singles player for Hyderabad Hotshots, Ajay Jayaram, expressed happiness over playing for the Hyderabad franchise. "Hyderabad Hotshots is a perfect team to play with. I am happy to be a part of this team," said Ajay, who played an impressive match against Mumbai Masters player, world no 1, Lee Chong Wei, recently. Multi business group PVP Ventures CMD Prasad V Potluri said he was very happy to see the sport receiving such a huge response.
