Indian women`s baseball team to compete in LG Cup
The Indian women`s baseball team will participate in the first ever LG Cup International Tournament slated to take place in South Korea from Saturday.

New Delhi: The Indian women`s baseball team will participate in the first ever LG Cup International Tournament slated to take place in South Korea from Saturday.
The tournament, organised by the Women`s Baseball Association, South Korea has been sponsored by LG Electronics.
The LG Cup will see eight countries participating in the event, with around 20 players in each team.
The Indian team comprises 22 players, who have been chosen from across the country through a rigorous selection process.
The winning Champion`s Trophy will include LG products worth USD 3000 for the winning team.
Group matches of the tournament will carry on till August 24. The match game and finals will take place on August 25 followed by a closing ceremony.
