New Delhi: Brushing aside the allegations by the Central Vigilance Commission that almost all the organisations executing infrastructure works for the Commonwealth Games 2010 have flouted tender norms, chairman of the Organising Committee Suresh Kalmadi said that they have nothing to do with the stadiums` construction. He said that developing infrastructure is not their job. “Now we are going to take over the stadiums which are already built by the respective departments. We are not in this business at all,” Kalmadi told a private TV channel. “We are only concerned about the stadium surface should be up to date. That`s it,” Kalmadi added. Reacting to the CVC report which suggests that some material used in the construction of the stadiums is not up to the mark, Kalmadi said they would definitely look into the matter. When asked that if he is shifting the accountability, Kalmadi said that his job is to run the game. “My job is to run the Game,” he said.
