Washington: Miami Heat star LeBron James and Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin were named NBA Players of the Week.
James bagged home a league-best 34 points to help the Heat win a 3-0 record last week. He shot 70.2 percent from the field and 62.5 percent beyond the arc and got 39 points in the Heat`s 110-104 victory over the Dallas Mavericks, reports Xinhua.
Griffin averaged 25.7 points and 11.3 rebounds in three games last week, leading the Clippers to a 3-0 record. He got 22 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and three steal to carry the Clippers over the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-103.
