Karnataka felicitates Asiad silver medallist boxer Santosh

Bangalore: The Karnataka government on Thursday felicitated boxer V Santhosh Kumar of Madras Engineer Group and Centre, Bangalore, who won a silver medal in the recently concluded Guangzhou Asian Games with a cash prize of Rs seven lakh.

Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa felicitated Santosh for his medal winning effort, a release said.Santosh represeneted Karnataka in the South Zone boxing championship last year and won a gold medal for the state. PTI
