NADA team conducts doping tests at World Cup Kabaddi

Chandigarh: National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) has taken samples of 12 players from six teams participating in the second edition of the World Cup Kabaddi.

The samples have been sent to National Dope Control Laboratory (NDTL) in Delhi for thorough investigation, an official said.

The anti-doping officials randomly chose two players of each of the six teams Norway, Spain, Italy, Argentina, United States of America and Pakistan for the dope tests after their matches concluded at Gurdaspur.

On the inaugural day of the tournament, samples of 12 players from six teams that played at Faridkot had been taken by the NADA officials for examination.
