NBA: Shin bruise to sideline Parker two games

San Antonio: San Antonio point guard Tony Parker will miss the Spurs` next two NBA games with a right shin contusion.

The Spurs said Tuesday that Parker would be sidelined for Wednesday`s game at Phoenix and Thursday`s at Golden State. "Parker will be reevaluated when the team returns to San Antonio, at which point his status for Saturday night`s Spurs-Thunder game will be determined," the team said in a statement. Parker was hurt late in the third quarter of Monday`s loss to the Clippers in Los Angeles. He hobbled off the court after appearing to bang his leg against another player`s knee. Parker finished with eight points and six assists in 26 minutes. The French star is averaging 17.5 points, 6.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 23 games this season.
