Netball player succumbs to cardiac arrest

Maharashtra's netball player, Mayuresh Pawar, died of a cardiac arrest on Monday in Thiruvananthapuram.

New Delhi: Maharashtra's netball player, Mayuresh Pawar, died of a cardiac arrest on Monday in Thiruvananthapuram.

Pawar was here to represent his state in the on-going 35th National Games.

According to the media reports, the state player complained of chest pain early in the morning, after playing a match against Chandigarh.

However, his condition got critical by the time he was taken to the nearby hospital but could not be revived.

It is also leant that Mayuresh's body will be soon transported to his home state.
