Pittsburgh: The Pittsburgh Steelers confirmed on Friday they`ll be without running back LeVeon Bell for Saturday`s NFL first-round playoff tussle with Baltimore.

Bell, the second-leading rusher in the NFL this season, hyperextended his right knee in last week`s victory over Cincinnati, which saw the Steelers clinch the AFC North division title.

Bell suffered no ligament damage, but he was unable to practice this week and the team had already inked journeyman rusher Ben Tate as a possible backup to rookie running backs Josh Harris and Dri Archer.

Bell, 22, notched 1,361 rushing yards and eight touchdowns in the regular season, and also caught 83 passes for 854 yards and three TDs.
