Kharsawan: Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today assured that there will not be another postponement of the National Games.
Addressing a meeting here, Munda said the state government is committed to holding the Games, which have been postponed seven times since 2007.
"We will hold the games positively," he said adding that there will not be any further postponements. The government is committed to help budding talent from the state in all events, particularly archery and hockey, he said.
Last week, the Indian Olympic Association had agreed to Jharkhand`s request to hold the games in February after it had expressed its inability to host the games this month following panchayat elections.
