Pakistan will bid for hosting the 2013 Asian Snooker Championship during the general body meeting of the Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports (ACBS) in Qatar on April 25.

Karachi: Pakistan will bid for hosting the 2013 Asian Snooker Championship during the general body meeting of the Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports (ACBS) in Qatar on April 25.
Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) President Alamgir Shaikh will present the bid on the sidelines of the 28th Asian Snooker Championship to be held from April 20 to 28. Apart from disbursing other items on the agenda, the general body will elect office-bearers for another term of two years, The Express Tribune reports. Pakistan’s Ali Asghar Valika has already been elected unopposed as senior executive vice-president Meanwhile, two cueists, Mohammad Asif and Sultan Mohammad, will represent the country in the Asian Snooker Championship. They qualified to represent the country as they occupied the top two slots in the 37th National Snooker Championship earlier this year. ANI
